I AM NOT FLEXIBLE, CAN I TAKE YOUR CLASSES?
YES! our classes are designed to help you improve your flexibility & mobility. We can help you no matter where in your journey you may be - simply hoping to touch your toes, or actively working towards oversplits!
WHAT IS A TYPICAL FLEXSPACE CLASS LIKE?
Our 1-hour Stretch & Tone classes focus primarily on flexibility/mobility exercises. However, you can also expect most classes to include elements of cardio and strength training to promote a holistic approach to fitness. You should definitely expect to sweat in all of your FLEXSPACE classes!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Any athletic wear will work. Socks are recommended to be worn or kept closeby as they do help in certain exercises.
WHAT SHOULD I HAVE ON HAND?
For most stretching classes, you will need:
An exercise mat (or any comfortable surface)
One long elastic band (or a stretchy t-shirt/towel)
Two exercise blocks (or thick books)
Two pillows (or anything else that can provide cushioning for the joints and help you slide)
Drinking water (to stay hydrated)
